1200 horses will be gathered in Herning for the ECCO FEI World Championships. A big part is already here today it is time for the horse inspection and the familiarization in dressage and vaulting. In the familiarization, the riders and vaulters get the chance to train in the big arenas.
Three stadiums will set the frame for the coming 10 days of competition and championships, where around 800 riders and vaulters will compete in four different disciplines.
Yesterday the draw for the starting order for the horse inspection and the familiarization was done. Today, the riders and vaulters get the chance to train in teams in the arenas. The dressage riders in Stutteri Ask Stadium and the vaulters in Jyske Bank Boxen.

Dressage:
8.00-10.00: Horse Inspection (starting order)
10.00-14.30: Familiarization (starting order)
15.30-20.00: Familiarization (starting order)
14.30: Draw for Grand Prix
Vaulting:
10.15-11.30: Horse Inspection (starting order)
11.30-20.00: Familiarization (starting order)
19.45: Draw for first competitions
A startling championship
When the championship competitions start Saturday, the first out of expected 200.000 spectators will follow from the grandstands, while 150 million people will sit behind the tv watching the championships around the world.
There will for sure be great support for the competitors, who comes from a total of 50 countries.
